A.C Salter

A.C. Salter
Adrian lives in the UK with his wife and children. Born in Yorkshire, he's spent time living in Essex, Oxford, Leicestershire and York. At 18 he joined the British army and spent 6 years as a soldier in the infantry. His service included several tours of Northern Ireland, Kenya, Belgium, Norway and an operation with the special forces in Sierra Lione. His love of fantasy began with reading Tolkien, Terry Brookes, Terry Pratchett and Stephen King - continuing on to The Wheel of Time, Robin Hobb, J.K Rowling, Brandon Sanderson, Joe Abercrombie and many others. He has many titles, including the best-selling book Gallows Born from the Bane of the North series. His other best-selling books are Rise of the Draugr, The Crooked Shard - from the same series - and Dylap and Blood Thorn from the Dylap trilogy. He's also published the Daughter of Chaos series, Merry Wish and other titles. When he's not reading or writing, he likes to spend time with his wife, children and grandchildren - searching for fairies and playing pirates.

Actus
Actus has been writing fantasy stories since the age of twelve, and he's been telling them since he could talk. He's currently working on three main series - Return of the Runebound Professor, Nightmare Realm Summoner, and Rise of the Living Forge. He has also written & completed Morcster Chef, My Best Friend is an Eldritch Horror, and Steamforged Sorcery. Actus also has a Master's Degree that he got exclusively so he could put it in his author bio. Early access for up to 50+ chapters for his series are available on Actus' Patreon. In addition to his passion for writing, Actus is capable of clearing a two story building with a single jump. That isn't true, but writing about himself in third person gives Actus delusions of grandeur.

Adam Elliott
Adam Elliott is a self-deprecating veteran of roughly three decades of Fantasy and Sci-Fi, who has recently taken the plunge into the LitRPG and GameLit sub-genre in an attempt to finally expel some of the decades worth of (largely good) that have been dancing around his brain. He may have also written other books under a psuedonym that he is not particularly proud of. But no one can prove that. In his hobbies he plays too many computer games when he should be writing. He is a big fan of Speedrunning (imagine that) and one day hopes to hold some sort of world record worth being proud of, as opposed to the handful he holds on relatively obscure SNES titles.

Adam K. Armbrust
A pen name of a mysterious author. Mostly writes for fun, but would love to leave boring I.T. work behind for more creative and collaborative endeavors with other creative, collaborative people. Beyond that, this mysterious author mostly plays gacha games, looks after his dog, and wishes he'd moved somewhere warmer with a better job market.

Adastra339
Adastra339 In 2nd grade, my class held a short story writing contest. I wrote a very awesome story about two dueling dragons. It lost to a dumb boring story that had no dragons whatsoever. I never got over it. Ever since, I have been on a quest to become the greatest writer there ever was. Alexander Gerda
Hello, I’m Alexander Gerda. I was born in April 1979. I spent my entire youth in a big city, working the motions of everyday life: school, university, my job as a lawyer... But behind the routine, my secret passion bubbled. Since childhood, I’ve been immersed in the worlds of SF, fantasy, and horror, devouring books one after another, a habit that followed me into adulthood. Deep down, I’ve always dreamed about weaving my own magical story, and so, ten years ago, I dipped my toes into the waters of writing. It all started with literary contests, but the real magic happened when I decided to try my hand at writing literary fiction. When my debut turned out to be a success, I realized that I had to dedicate myself to writing and make my dream come true. The Emperor’s Dark Mage is my entry to the genre of Portal Progression Fantasy, on the 18th volume of which I’m currently working on in Russian. It has everything: a magic school where young students learn the secrets of magic, and an aristocratic showdown full of intrigue and danger. Maxim’s story has won the hearts of readers in Russian, and I believe that his adventures will pique your interest as well.

Alexander Wales
Alexander Wales is an author of speculative fiction, especially whatever lies at the nexus of science fiction and fantasy. Formerly a programmer-for-hire, he now toils away in the word mines, writing serial fiction on the web.

Alex Beaumont

Alexey Kovtunov
Alexey Kovtunov was born in April 1992. He had a regular childhood and went to a regular school, after which he decided to study medicine. Still, having graduated from medical college, he wasn’t in a hurry to join the profession. In 2014, he got a job during the Sochi Olympics as a driver with the US Olympic Committee, after which he found a gig working as industrial abseiler. Only after that did he join an emergency aid team in his capacity as paramedic. It was an interesting job which definitely left its stamp on Alexey’s writing. In medicine, black humor is often the only thing that can ensure one’s sanity... His hobbies, too, have influenced his work as a writer: fishing, books, technologies, computer games... all of this eventually resulting in his love for LitRPG. But just as he started trying his hand at writing, the pandemic struck. Emergency teams toiled overtime, making Alexey way too busy with his medical work. Still, as soon as the situation improved, he got busy creating his own worlds... and he hasn’t been able to give it up since.

Alex Gilbert
I write fictions with a purpose: to evoke emotions in my readers. Since I started publishing web novels online, my clearest sense of success came from comments expressing how a passage made them laugh, cry, or sparked righteous indignation. This is why I write. I am fairly approachable so if you want to say hi or give some feedback, don't hesitate to stop by on Discord: https://discord.gg/rUrZDBgJ or check my work on my Royal Road profile: https://www.royalroad.com/profile/105290

Alex Karne

Alex Knight
Alex Knight (notabilis mendax) is a midlist author endemic to the coastal wetlands of North America. A member of the scriptum mendaces family, he is best known for his books (so popular they crash global markets) and his firm grasp on reality. His original habitat was confined to crumpled notebooks, but due to his meddling persistence, has expanded to include such works as Wriggly Little Hands, The Far Wild, Servant of Rage, and more. In 2018, notabilis mendax was included in the list of Invasive Species of Federal Concern. His current status is listed as “Class II: fast-growing; nuisance.” See more on the author's page

Alex Prone
Hey, I'm Alex Prone, a fantasy enthusiast and aspiring storyteller. When I'm not chasing after my little one or tackling chores around the house, you'll often find me immersed in the pages of fantasy novels or writing my own—fueled by energy drinks (I know, it's bad for my health). You can find me on Patreon if you want early access to my upcoming titles. Just search for /AlexProne on Patreon, and you'll be good to go.

Alex Raizman
Alex Raizman has been a fantasy, science fiction, and horror fan since elementary school. He calls Stein, Tolkien, and Bradbury his "gateway drugs". A voracious reader, he always planned to write a book "someday". Being diagnosed with cancer in 2015 inspired him to stop thinking about "someday" and start doing things now. So with the same attitude that once prompted him to tackle a speech impediment by joining his school's competitive debate team, he decided to get serious about writing. Three years later, Alex is cancer free and thrilled to have published multiple books in LitRPG, Urban Fantasy, and Epic Fantasy. Alex lives in St. Louis, Missouri, with Loki, the world's coolest cat. Get your FREE story at Alex's website, www.alexraizman.com

Alex Toxic
Alex Toxic was born in 1978. He liked reading and playing video games from childhood. These two hobbies found ideal common ground when the LitRPG genre arrived. Alex dreamed of becoming an author but the profession seemed just too complicated to him. So he began working first as a journalist, then as a TV anchor and then as a documentary filmmaker. There came a point when Alex had run out of books he wanted to read. The authors simply couldn’t write new ones fast enough. The only way out was to write a book of his own. That’s how he launched into the passion that would with time become his primary profession. Alex believes that the most important thing in a book is its main character. He or she has to be strong and unrelenting in the face of whatever challenge arises in their path, and they must always triumph. See more on the author's page

Alvin Atwater
First off, thank you for reading: the books and this bio. A little about myself: I'm man of humor, fantasy, and a lover of characters and their dreams. Born in Florida, I did military service, and dropped out of college to foolishly pursue a writing dream. If you're a fan and want early access to my works, consider subscribing to my Patreon at www.Patreon.com/syr456 It goes a long way in supporting the series, editing, covers, and maybe that one slice of pizza on a cheat day. I'm humbled to have made this far thanks to your support and hope to push further beyond my current chokehold.

A. M. Sohma
Author by day, but a hunter (or very frazzled cleric) by night, A. M. Sohma is a lover of books, video games, and sweet armor sets. She aims to write entertaining stories with relatable characters, and spends her days lurking in libraries or wasting time on the internet. If you want to waste time with her, find her at amsohma.com!

Andrei Tkachev
Andrei Tkachev writes heroic and martial fantasy and tells stories of time travelers and survivalists, which often explore the mysterious disciplines of the East. He began writing the day he finished the last book in the library and turned to the internet in search of something new. He ended up writing that new book himself, and has been creating new worlds ever since. Each book in this series hides a certain something special – but what that is, dear reader, is for you to discover.

Andrew Karevik
I always found imaginary worlds to be much more fascinating than the real one. So that’s why I chose to dedicate my life to the exploration of these uncharted territories, and how I came to write fantasy. Let me welcome you as we embark on the ship of my imagination and travel to faraway lands full of mystery, strange creatures and hidden treasures.

Andrew Rowe
Andrew Rowe was once a professional game designer for awesome companies like Blizzard Entertainment, Cryptic Studios, and Obsidian Entertainment. Nowadays, he’s writing full time. When he’s not crunching numbers for game balance, he runs live-action role-playing games set in the same universe as his books. In addition, he writes for pen and paper role-playing games. Aside from game design and writing, Andrew watches a lot of anime, reads a metric ton of fantasy books, and plays every role-playing game he can get his hands on. Andrew Seiple
Andrew Seiple has been a voracious reader, roleplayer, gamer, and library enthusiast for years, and is finally getting serious about writing. After a torrid, decades-long love affair with science fiction and fantasy, he's found a true joy in writing books about super heroes and villains, and far stranger things. His latest project is the Threadbare series, the first book of which has been featured on "The View." Andrew Seiple is a member of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America.

Anton Panarin
Anton Panarin grew up in a small town with a population of barely 15,000. The local construction sites became his childhood playgrounds; an empty lot just next to the federal highway was his friends’ soccer pitch. Oh, the adrenaline rush whenever his clumsy kicks sent the football flying into the busy traffic! Oh, the joy and excitement whenever he had to dive between the cars’ wheels in order to retrieve the football! They couldn’t just abandon it, could they? – they only had one football for the entire street. When he grew up a bit, he was presented with the choice of either studying accounting or becoming a mechanic. Seeing as Anton had never been a hands-on type, he chose the former, only to regret it deeply by the end of the first semester. Selecting a field entirely dependent on number crunching might not have been such a good idea for a book-loving intellectual like himself. Whatever the case, Anton managed to graduate with half-decent grades, only to be faced with a new dilemma: should he find a job or maybe get a college degree? The latter was a no-brainer – after all, what’s life without a spell in college? Predictably, Anton wasn’t one to learn from experience, as he joined an IT faculty to further drown himself in numbers. He’d always been one for self-flagellation, you see. Still, once again he graduated with bearable grades, and even managed to pass the finals with flying colors. When he finally embarked on a professional career, Anton never stopped experimenting. He tried his hand at everything that came his way: from a household appliances sales rep to a paintball club co-owner and from a transactional products chief bank inspector to assistant system administrator for the local tax office. He attempted to run his own construction subcontracting business, sold all kinds of stuff from consumer electronics to beef jerky - but in the end, he refused to learn his lesson and walked back into the IT trap where he worked for the next 13 years, eventually making it to the post of division manager. He was in charge of 46 workers – a big boss! But you know what? He didn’t like it. He just kept looking for ways to scratch his artistic itch. That’s how he met Alexey Kovtunov who gave the aspiring writer the kick in the butt he so badly needed, propelling him to authorhood. Finally Anton discovered an occupation he truly loved – and with that, he finally embraced his identity.

Argus
I'm a fantasy and science fiction author with an interest in how those stories can explore the scope of human emotion and society. I balance out this high minded goal by making settings that are a little absurd, and often very silly. In writing this biography, I also realized I still don't know if it's supposed to be in third or first person, and if this sentence made you chuckle, you'll probably enjoy at least a little of what I like to write.

Arthur Glenwood
Arthur Glenwood has loved books and book stores for as long as he can remember, which is a rather long time. Apparently, he also writes books now. He hopes you have a great day!
Arthur Inverse
Welcome! My name is Arthur von Inverse Magnus, or Arthur Inverse for short! I am an aspiring author who writes as a hobby and am happy to bring you more of my work through Patreon. My current Main Fiction for the month is Dual Class - Currently on temp hiatus, will get out whatever I can. My upcoming Fictions are The War Orphan and Tales of the Grand Mage King.

Astralium
Astralium is the pen name chosen by me. I am a new aspiring author who likes to explore various new genres never seen by the western audience—especially ones that break the fourth wall. Specializing in meta-aware fiction, the protagonists in my stories often know they're inside a game or story, using that awareness to manipulate events and characters around them like chess pieces. My first published story, "My Magus Academy is Run by Players?!", merges fantasy and game mechanics into a layered narrative where players unknowingly shape a real world. Aside from this, I'm currently working on a new story called "The Gods' Gacha Game," another mind-bending tale that explores scenario manipulation and hidden systems in a deadly game of survival. To find more about my unpublished stories, search for the name "Astralium" on RoyalRoad. Read more about this author

Autumn Plunkett
I love reading and writing romance, LitRPGs, and short horror stories! I always write books in my series one after the other, so you can guarantee the next release will be from one of my ongoing works. If you notice any errors in my work, feel free to contact me on my Discord. There's also a 'wiki' I manage there for each of my multi-volume series, so you can more easily keep track of the plot. This includes dungeon maps, character art, and even channels for discussing the plot!
Benjamin Darr
Benjamin Darr is an Air Force veteran and indie author from Southern Indiana. Cutting his teeth on the Redwall series in elementary school, Ben developed a passion for fantasy that led to the classics like GRRM and Tolkien.

Benjamin Kerei
Coffee, Writing, Family & Friends, Reading, and Sleep: the five things my life revolve around. That's pretty much all you need to know about me.

Blaise Corvin
http://blaise-corvin.com/ Blaise Corvin served in the US Army in several roles. He has seen the best and the worst that humanity has to offer. He is a sucker for any hobby involving weapons, art, or improv. He currently lives in Texas, in a house full of enough geeky memorabilia to start a museum. He likes talking about himself in 3rd person and posting pictures of himself wearing douchebag sunglasses on Amazon. Sometimes, he pretends he is not an idiot with a terrible sense of humor. It's all very eccentric. Blaise currently writes mostly in the GameLit genre and LitRPG subgenre, exciting new classifications of fiction where characters either play a game (usually VR), or live in a world with game-like elements. Delvers LLC is a story about two best friends who are transported to a dangerous fantasy world, complete with magic and monsters. They will need to use their wits and 21st century know-how to find any edge to survive. Nora Hazard is set in the Delvers LLC world, and follows the adventures of Nora Hazard as she discovers her destiny. This series ties directly into the Delvers LLC series, but the two series can be read alone. Surviving Ludus, the Delvers LLC world anthology, includes a story by Blaise Corvin, "Missing in Action," that will also tie into the Delvers LLC series. Blake Arthur Peel
Blake Arthur Peel has been coming up with stories ever since he was a kid. He was always drawing maps in the backs of notebooks and daydreaming when he probably should have been paying attention. He loves playing tabletop war games and spending time with his wife and three sons.

Blake Severson
Blake Severson was born and raised in Central Texas. He is a husband and father of four boys. His early life started with a stint in the U.S. Navy as an Electronics Technician and then moved into I.T. work for the healthcare industry. Bosloe
Husband, Dad, Teacher, Artist, Writer, Gamer, General Trouble Maker and Very Sarcastic Bosloe is a Maths secondary school teacher after spending many years in the military and the business sector. He regularly tells dad jokes in lessons to the continual groans of frustration from his students. Not long before the pandemic hit, he switched to teaching, wishing to give something back to society. This is just the beginning of his story as an author who originally wrote for fun and has now decided to publish it in the public domain. Bosloe hopes people will welcome his content and the world he creates. He is also completing an Open Degree and often takes the beast out for long runs or walks. He takes this opportunity to catch up with some of his favourite authors' audio releases.

Brook Aspden
I am Brook! (say hi - or report any pesky typos - at www.brookaspden.com) The most important thing about me is that I have always loved a good story. Whether it be books, films, cartoons, comics, video games or any other form of storytelling – I can’t get enough awesome stories in my life. I am enthralled by tales of good vs evil, fantastical places and awesome powers (if I see an ornate closet I’ll be checking for an entrance to Narnia, every time). As a Kiwi, perhaps it is fitting that one of my favourite childhood memories was my dad reading my brother and I pages from The Hobbit as bedtime stories. I grew up in New Zealand (sorry but no, I cannot introduce you to Gandalf) but am currently living in the UK. Ever since being inspired by those early childhood stories I have been an avid reader and writer. After co-founding the indie publisher Portal Books and editing a number of cool stories from Oliver Mayes’ Occultist to Jonathan Smidt’s Bone Dungeon I finally ventured into publishing stories of my own. My core belief when writing is that my stories should be fun. Stories for me have always been a safe place, where happy endings are not only possible but highly probable. When you are wrapped up in a good story the rest of the world falls away, it’s a kind of meditation, its good for the soul. Stories are my happy place and that’s something I want to recreate for my readers, whatever their age. I hope that my stories, both those already written and those to come, can bring a little bit of excitement, laughter and joy into your life. That’s why I write, to pass on the awesome experiences that so many story tellers have given me over the course of my life, to others. I also write because of my Nana – she was awesome.

Bruce Nesmith
I'm a midwest guy born and bred. At least I thought I was until I moved to the east coast. Now I'm a bit of both. I love different things about each of those two areas of the country. Professionally, each contributed something different to my career path. I started out working for TSR, Inc. in Wisconsin. I did two tours of duty there, as a programmer for a bit, but primarily as a writer and game designer. I wrote all kinds of things from Dungeons & Dragons materials, Marvel Superheroes products, Gamma World supplements, and board games. I had the great honor of turning Tracy Hickman's Ravenloft adventure into a campaign setting. Eventually, I left the halls of TSR, Inc. for the green, Maryland pastures of Bethesda Softworks, maker of video games. I worked on Elder Scrolls games and Fallout games. I had a second great honor of being the lead designer on The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Throughout all of this, I've had a love of fantasy and science fiction, in books, movies, and games. You'll see a partial list of game products I've worked on in this author page. Unfortunately, Amazon doesn't have all of my products in its catalog. You can also find me on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/Bruce-Nesmith-Author-103769655138160

Bryce O'Connor
Bryce O’Connor learned the importance of a well-crafted story at an early age. Raised on the tall tales of Brian Jacques’ Redwall and J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series, he fell in love with reading when he realized that one’s imagination is the only place where dragons might actually fly free. Check out Bryce's imprint, Wraithmarked Creative, on Patreon for early access chapters and books, exclusive art, and unique hardcopies! Link below!

Cale Plamann
A lifelong fan of Fantasy and Science Fiction, I usually spent my nerdy energy creating overly elaborate homebrew RPG campaigns. As it became harder and harder to juggle schedules for a half dozen players, I eventually made the logical choice and just cut them out of the picture entirely. Now I write novels. They whine a lot less about critical failures.

Cameron Milan
Born in 1995, Cameron grew up on the west coast of the United States. Cassio Ferreira
Cássio was born in Portugal in 1990. His biggest challenge as a writer? Resisting the urge to include a character inspired by his cat, Oli, in every book. Although he studied robotics, his passion for languages led him to a career in teaching and interpreting. This blend of science, linguistics, and a deep love for his cat has shaped him into a sci-fi and LitRPG author specializing in clean, wholesome fiction. In his free time, Cássio enjoys peaceful walks with his wonderful wife and playful moments with Oli—the two muses behind his stories. He shares his work on Royal Road and Patreon, gradually moving finished books to Amazon. Read more about this author

Chad J. Maske is a Wisconsin native currently living near the capital of Madison, though he likes to hide behind his internet persona of Phoenixfang. Chad’s main hobbies are reading and playing games of all varieties, from video games to tabletops. He likes most genres, but loves fantasy the most, particularly urban fantasy. He is currently working a full time job, but it mostly consists of babysitting a phone at night so he uses that time to read and write. His muse constantly badgers him with new ideas for art or writing and is finally managing to break out!

Chaos65
Just a Polish author who got lost somewhere along the road of life and, instead of working in IT, decided to become a writer. Might be an odd choice, but it beats letting my head explode from all the ideas swirling inside it. Post-apo, LitRPG, Sci-fi, Fantasy. I have it all. Now I just gotta write it down on paper... For more from me, visit my Patreon and RoyalRoad: @Chaos65

Conor Malachi

Cornman
The first time I wrote a successful story was in sixth grade. Upon hearing the work, my classmates quickly became enraptured by my prose, and weekly readings soon became mandatory. Well, technically they had to listen, since we all took turns reading from our journals. But still! Some of them occasionally chuckled, as they passed notes concerning the quality of my plotlines and innovative hooks. Their eyes would often glaze over, as they considered the profundity of my fiction. The Story was about a mutated stalk of corn, who gained sentience and superhuman abilities after the serendipitous dumping of toxic waste upon a local corn farm. Using his newfound powers, CORNMAN sought out and defeated countless menacing foes, from the sickening Melted Gummy Bear Man, to the Delicious Duo: Fatman and Reuben. But all paled in comparison to Cornman's arch nemesis, Corn-y Man! Corny Man executed his heinous crimes by paralyzing unwitting victims with his terrible puns, poor comedic timing, and heavy reliance on over-used tropes. The battle between them was fierce, but Cornman eventually vanquished the evil vegetable by using his own tricks against him! Yes! Cornman developed superior wit, and used the greatest weapon of his sworn rival as the machination for the criminal's own demise. All was once again well amidst the golden fields. But over time, Cornman's righteous humor began to falter. His pop culture references became stale. His reliance on tired punchlines and repetition of base, slapstick jokes drove away the love and affection of the farmers he had fought so hard to save. For Corn-y Man had not truly been defeated. He had grown inside of Cornman, waiting for his chance to rise once more! To rule the world through questionable quips and jarring japes! At last! After ten-thousand days I'm free! Become a Patron and you may subject yourself to my abject lack of guile. You will receive thousands of words worth of inartfully crafted gags. Hundreds of unwisecracks. Endless double entendres which are, 100% of the time, about men's cobs. Join me, and together we shall make ALL jokes in the world my own. ALL shall become: Corn-y. It is only a matter of time...

Craig Zerf
Craig is lucky enough to have been voted as Best Read by BBC Radio 4 in the United Kingdom as well as receiving the Golganooza Gold Medal for Fantasy. His books have reached the Number One spot in both the UK and Europe. He has lived in many different countries in the world including Africa, America, United Kingdom, Europe and Australia. At the moment he has settled in England and, providing his paranoia does not intervene, he hopes to stay there for a while. He does not like writing about himself in the third person and is convinced that it may very well lead to him suffering from a false feeling of superiority and the need to refer to himself in the majestic plural. Craig writes Fantasy Novels under his own name as well as Thrillers under the Pseudonym, C. Marten-Zerf. He steadfastly maintains that writing for a living is the most fun that you can legally have while not blowing stuff up. As a result, he has had over twenty books published and the figure is rising on a steady basis. His novels have been translated into French, German, Portuguese and Italian. Craig currently finds himself of no fixed abode. He is not dead.

Dave Willmarth
Dave Willmarth has been a life-long fan of Fantasy and Science Fiction books. And a gamer since the 1970's, the days of early video games like Pong and Tank Battle, and of course Dungeons and Dragons. Discovering the GameLit (LitRPG) genre opened up a whole new world that allowed for the combination of game elements and a fantasy setting in book form. Dave couldn't resist. After a lifetime of starting and stopping several books, here he found a medium that inspired him. Now he sits in his man cave late at night and taps out the adventures of the characters he always wanted to play, in fantasy and scifi worlds virtually without limits. More info, including some character portraits, can be found on Dave’s website at http://www.davewillmarth.com

David Roberts
David Verburg
Hello and welcome, I go by ErraticErrata on the web and I'm a web serial author. In February 2015 to 2022 I wrote the series A Practical Guide to Evil and as of August 2022 I will be launching my next series, Pale Lights. The books update weekly on Fridays, both on the public site and for the Patreon advance chapters. Where A Practical to Evil ended up being seven large books (admittedly some larger than others) I intend for the Pale Lights sequence to be a larger amount of smaller, more tightly focused books. The emphasis will be more on mystery and conspiracy, compared to the epic fantasy of the Guide.

Dawn Chapman
Dawn Chapman has been creating sci-fi and fantasy stories for thirty years. Until 2005 when her life and attention turned to scripts, and she started work on The Secret King, a 13-episode Sci-Fi TV series, with a great passion for this medium. In 2015, Dawn returned to her first love of prose where she revelled in the world of The Secret King, Letháo and First Contact, as an epic prose space journey over three generations. This year her experience of working with others expanded. From Drama, Sci-Fi, Action, to LitRPG/Gamelit. Dawn’s built a portfolio of writing, consulting, publishing and audio proofing.

Dean Henegar
Working from his home in the mountains of East Tennessee, Dean is the author of the Amazon bestselling Limitless Lands, Derelict, and Cat Core series. After a training accident in the Army Reserves left him unable to continue his civilian job, Dean reignited his passion for writing. As a lifelong fan of Fantasy, Science Fiction, and gaming, it isn’t too surprising that Dean chose the GameLit (LitRPG) genre to start his journey as an author. Whether it’s a grizzled soldier at the end of his life, a living starship, or an elderly cat lady defending her dungeon with a slew of kittens, Dean’s characters, and the worlds they live in, are waiting for you to explore and enjoy.

Dem Mikhailov
Dem Mikhailov was born on November 23 1979 in the city of Zarafshan (the Republic of Uzbekistan). His natural aptitude for science and technology decided his initial career choice, prompting him to enter the local industrial college. Upon graduation, he worked in the mining industry specializing in separation and beneficiation of metals. Still, he didn’t find much joy in the admittedly boring job. Fed up with the daily grind, Dem finally decided to radically change his lifestyle and moved to Turkey where he spent the next twelve years working in the leisure industry, rising through the ranks from a regular entertainer to an animation team manager. Although leisure-time animation is admittedly a vocation for the young, it allowed Dem to mix with all kinds of people and later use his knowledge of human types and characters in his books. In 2012, Dem Mikhailov returned to his home town, which marked the beginning of his stellar writing career. He’s rightly considered one of the founding fathers of LitRPG, and his legendary saga The Sleepless Ones (The World of Waldyra) became one of the cult LitRPG series serving as an inspiration for such bestselling LitRPG authors as Vasily Mahanenko, Dan Sugralinov and Michael Atamanov.

Dmitry Sheleg
In 2013, Dmitry Sheleg decided to radically change his life by trying to become a writer. And already in the fall of 2014, his first novel Nelud (Not of This World) was released by one of the country’s leading sci fi & fantasy publishing houses, Alpha Kniga. The resulting 7-book series received an avalanche of positive reviews from both readers and literary critics. In 2019, Dmitry started a new novel: The Heir of an Ancient Bloodline, which later became the first book in his new series Living Ice. It was met with a lot of praise and received bestselling rankings in online book stores. Inspired by the first book’s success, Dmitry wrote eight more titles, completing the Living Ice series in 2023. Currently the author lives and works in Minsk, Belarus. He’s married and is busy raising a wonderful daughter. According to his readers, Dmitry excels in writing exciting stories which grab you from the very first pages. His works are characterized by fresh and original storylines, heroic characters, masterful worldbuilding and excellent combat scenes.

Dosei
'Dosei', written as 土星 ("Saturn") in Japanese, is the pseudonym of author 'Kristoffer Pauly'. Kristoffer was born in a small village in Denmark. He spent his childhood playing in nature with nothing but sticks and oceans of imagination. Even as he grew up, he never lost that imagination, and at the age of 17 he started using his imagination for writing. In 2023, he started gaining some popularity on the webnovel site RoyalRoad, with stories like 'Father of Monstrosity' and 'Isekai Exorcist'. In 2024 he released 'Madman Apocalypse' on the site and in 2025 he launched 'Loopshard' on there as well. He is also the author of the books 'Exiled Realm', 'Toad Town', 'The Dagger of Shadows', and 'F-tier Assassin'. When he is not busy writing or studying to become a programmer, Kristoffer is an avid reader and consumer of games, anime, art, and anything else that sparks the imagination.

Drew Hayes
Drew Hayes is an author from Texas who has written several books and found the gumption to publish a few (so far). He graduated from Texas Tech with a B.A. in English, because evidently he's not familiar with what the term "employable" means. You can read more of his growing work at his website, www.drewhayesnovels.com, send him mail and movie offers at Novelistdrew@gmail.com, or just follow his twitter: DrewHayesNovels. Drew has been called one of the most profound, prolific, and talented authors of his generation, but a table full of drunks will say almost anything when offered a round of free shots. Drew feels kind of like a D-bag writing about himself in the third person like this. He does appreciate that you're still reading, though. Drew would like to sit down and have a beer with you. Or a cocktail. He's not here to judge your preferences. Drew is terrible at being serious, and has no real idea what a snippet biography is meant to convey anyway. Drew thinks you are awesome just the way you are. That part, he meant. Drew is off to go high-five random people, because who doesn't love a good high-five? No one, that's who.

Drew McGunn
A sixth-generation Texan and lifelong storyteller, Drew first explored the "what-ifs" of the past in his well received alternate history series, The Lone Star Reloaded. Now, he's applying his love of world-building to a new challenge: the end of the world as we know it. In his new LitRPG / System Apocalypse series, A Hard Reset, he crafts gripping sagas where the stakes are real, the stats are crunchy, and survival is never guaranteed. Fascinated by the intersection of science fiction and game mechanics, his stories explore how community, leadership, and a bit of gamer logic can make all the difference when the monsters show up. Drew lives and writes near the Gulf Coast of Texas.

D. R. R. Hatch

D. R. R. Hatch
Hatch here! By way of introduction, I’m a LitRPG/Gamelit novelist intent on writing at least six books a year. I steer more towards the epic side of things, thanks to my love of Tolkien and Sanderson, but every one of my books are, at their core, progressive. There’s a lot I could say about myself, but let me boil everything down to the basics . . . I was born in Hollywood, I lived in a treehouse during the pandemic, my favorite anime is "Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind," I love Jesus, two of the coolest prophets were Elijah and his apprentice Elisha (the former rode a friggin’ flaming chariot into heaven!), and the best SNES game of all time is "Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars." I have a nest of dragons on my kitchen counter, a full grown chocobo in my backyard, and a giant multicolored egg lodged in my roof. My hope is to one day fill my home with fantastic beasts of every kind, then move out to the countryside and start up a magical preserve. Most of these creatures are endangered (as you are well aware) and it is my hope to keep them from fading out of existence. Please FOLLOW ME HERE on Amazon! If you do, you'll be the first to know when I publish another book Read more about this author

Edie Skye
Edie Skye wrote Titan Mage as a joke and, in doing so, discovered that while she likes writing smart stuff, she also likes writing smut. Pretty spicy smut, too, ‘cause if you’re gonna do it, you might as well do it hard. Specifically, she enjoys spinning fun (and funny) adventure fantasies about badass women with giant robots and giant … plots, and the equally badass dudes who want to do them. Vigorously. There’s action, airships, monster fighting, and mech-upgrading galore, with a substantial side of harem and fun-for-all-involved graphic spice. (Which is to say, it’s super NSFW. Unless your workplace is, like, cool with that.) Sign up for her newsletter and learn more about her work at https://edieskye.com/

Elbert Colon

I started writing on scrap pieces of paper in a maths lesson. One paper became many, then I bought a lined book, and before I knew it, I had a story on my hands. Things snowballed from there, and here we are now. Hopefully you enjoy my work.

Eric Dontigney
Raised in Western New York, Eric Dontigney has lived in New Mexico, Florida, Wisconsin, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee. He currently resides near Dayton, OH. He is a fan of photo-realism and impressionist paintings, coffee, and well-made food. Not wishing to tarnish the good names of writers who have come before him, he refuses to name influences. He will admit to reading Neil Gaiman, Harlan Ellison, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Ayn Rand, Stephen J. Cannell, Jim Butcher, Kate Chopin, Edgar Allen Poe, Shakespeare, Camus, James Baldwin, Tim O'Brien, Ray Bradbury, Isaac Asimov, and Stephen King.

Eric Ugland
Eric ran away from Seattle to join the circus. And then he came to his senses, and moved to Manhattan. Now he's a novelist in Los Angeles. Don't worry, it doesn't make sense to him either.

Erin Ampersand
Erin Ampersand is from a lesser-known branch of the Punctuation Peerage. Neither as elegant as the noble Parentheses, nor as well-regarded as the heroic Dashes, the Ampersands are instead considered little better than the scurrilous Interrobangs. In addition to writing and reading, Erin loves games of all sorts, from tabletop RPGs to videogames, although she is rather bad at platformers and hopeless at first-person shooters. She and her husband own enough board games to capsize a standard canoe.

Eugene Astakhov
Eugene was born in Moscow in 1989. Since an early age, he spent countless hours in imaginary worlds, dreaming about someday creating one of his own. Despite pursuing a career in law, his passion for storytelling never waned. In 2022 he made the bold decision to leave office work behind and dedicate himself to writing full-time. An avid fan of the LitRPG genre, Eugene devoured every series he came across but never quite found something to scratch that itch of immersing yourself in the adventures of a rogue creeping around enemies. So, he decided to take matters into his own hands and wrote Viasheron. This completed series, consisting of 9 books, has sold over 44,000 copies on Russia's second-biggest self-publishing website, garnering praise from readers and establishing Eugene as a rising star in the genre. Eugene finds inspiration in various sources, including video games, fantasy and sci-fi books, TV shows, and tabletop role-playing games like Dungeons & Dragons. As a big fan of D&D, he brings his love for immersive storytelling and world-building to his writing, crafting vivid and engaging tales that transport readers to other realms. His path is a reminder to all aspiring writers - you only need to take up a pen to create art of your own. And remember, "There are other worlds than these."

Fred Hughes
During 20 years in the US Navy, Fred spent long periods of time away from home, most of it on submarines, where he developed a great appreciation for the written word. Naval service also gave him an understanding of organization and processes. Because of a busy mind needed some type of relief, Fred began creating what was to become the Britannia Empire in his head. Nine books and counting, the internationally best-selling Prince of Britannia series has been entertaining readers since early 2021. Book 6, Prince Liberator, won the 2024 Immajjin Award for best Science Science Fiction Novel. Fred’s now working on the follow-up series, Heroes of Britannia, the second book, which will be out in January of 2025. His other works include the trilogy, The first Solar War and three anthologies. Ultimately, Fred’s books are about personalities. He tries to create characters people care about, and yes, that does mean that characters you get attached to die. Sorry—it cannot be helped; war sucks. The books include numerous space battles, and Fred makes them as realistic as possible. Creating compelling characters, in my humble opinion, is what sells books and that's what I try to do in all my books and stories. Once created, I let them take over the story line. They're the ones who actually write the books. I just type the words into the computer. I readily admit, I'm simply a ghost writer for them. Fred is now a full-time author and lives with his loving wife, Dundi, in the Dallas area of Texas. Their four children, Danielle, Kyle, Allison, and Holly, inspire him to continue putting thoughts into words. You can find Fred on Facebook at Fred Hughes Publishing. Drop him a line there, and he will get back to you.

Furious Miki
Miki was born in 2001 in Cherepovets, one of the most polluted cities in Europe. Since childhood, he wanted to leave his home town, seeking escape in books, computer games and anime. It was these hobbies that determined his future path as a writer. Only after enrolling in engineering university and realizing that this was not his vocation, was Miki finally able to devote himself entirely to writing the kinds of books that he himself would like to read. Having no knowledge of writing craft, he spent two years penning fanfiction to improve his style and speed, methodically preparing for his literary debute. Miki sees plot as the core of all his works. It is through these plots that he introduces the reader to countless worlds of his own making and immerses them in his wonderful stories.

And his pockets are empty.. Got rolled in a back alley hoping for a taste...a melancholy tune strumming chords on the threaded strings of a beat up violin aged in kisses.. She said his name once..in a fever... sweat carving pictographs to a black and white noir frame...a dial up of a vision on a phone with no tone... They say in the soft segues between tomorrow and yesterday... you can hear their whispers.. you can hear their goodbyes... It all happened on a Tuesday... that forgotten slip between a touch and a punch.. on the cusp of a promise . What are words but breaths held against the memory of today and the spot between her neck and lips.. between her breasts and her womb... That man is still there.. in the midnight.. knuckle crawling silver holding a last wish between teeth Devils in transitional moments of beauty Poem JD Glasscock The devil's in the details, high speed rails, broken down trails that we call life, so finger spit the chamber, play Russian roulette with tourettes,a shaky hand and starry eyes, one last goodbye... Flipping deuces when you need aces, hoping for a joker to crash the gin straight up into a bent cup.... Roll the bones, slitted eyes or a prayer for sevens on the back of a hooker's thighs... Silver coin spinning across knuckles, flipped into the cavernous gape that is fate... Slip step into the ethereal and a jaunt to the ever ever... Forever is a long fucking time..,.. She sighed into the drop that was the maw of articulation and we were two rickety boats sailing the turbulent afterimages of dream... Had a certain sheen when seen in shitty light and no hope..... Rope a dope and we calling the whole sha bang bang.... The old tunes the crevice of her prayer hung in the night was something to behold, truth be told.... And we wove threads through the silence of the dead and hummed melodies that memory etched into remembrance and we would see each other on the other side of a dawn that would never see the crack ass of tomorrow.... Stars are the strings of my guitar and I got a hankering to play... Stay and we will say hello to the fuckery of ages.... Rages dwindling into whimpers.... My hand slaps the silly of generations and the tick tock of clocks crumble beneath an ocean of regret..... The sun has set... It was a doozy of a ride... Shine shine... Beauty was always your friend

JG Spaulding

Jim Shanahan
Hi readers, welcome to my writing. I hope you will enjoy reading my books and that they will transport you into a magical place. I first became interested in writing as a teenager. Then life and other pursuits such as art took me down a different path. I am now exploring this road less travelled once more. I started with The Serpent of Time, an epic fantasy, which was my first novel. Now I have added to that with my next novel, Unknown Realms, The Eternal Challenge Book 1. It is an Isekai adventure, hence it lies in the LitRPG genre. Some more about me. I was born and live in Ireland. I work in the world of science. I am an artist. I love the great outdoors and nature in general. I enjoy trail running. I play piano to relax. I was once bitten by a spider. Hence my super powers... Well that's enough about me for now. Thanks for stopping by and check back as I finish more books in time.

JJ Bookerson
JJ Bookerson is a man that read one too many books, a fan of HaremLit stories. He grew up with Anime and Sci-Fi/Fantasy shows, and one day decided to start writing them himself. He found that he enjoyed doing it, just about as much as he enjoyed reading them. Read ahead on Patreon or just support him as an author, at https://www.patreon.com/JJBookerson

J. J. Hutto
J. J. Hutto moved often as a kid and became a fixture at various local libraries as a result. There, he studied under fantasy’s greatest authors and became obsessed with the hero’s journey, which likely inspired his career as a firefighter/first responder. Hutto currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia, and is pursuing writing full-time... among a few other dubious professions.

J. L. Mullins
J.L.Mullins has been writing since he was five years old. Blessedly, he has improved through the years, and while 'The Case of the Missing Stapler' will likely never see widespread publication, Mullins enjoys little more than sharing his newer stories—his worlds—with others. He lives with his wife, six kids, their rescue-akitas named Fenrir and Freya, and their cat named Duski (or Kiki).
J. McCoy (Eligos)
Hi there! I'm a part-time journalist making my first dip into web novels. Right now I'm writing mostly for fun. The goal was to write every day and challenge myself. But someone suggested I make a Patreon for if/when my story took off, and I figure there's no harm in aiming high. I've had about a month off from work to put tons of time into it and have enjoyed every moment, though once I go back the updates may slow down. If I start making a little side money from my work it will justify putting more time into it, so if you enjoy my story, please consider donating. As a writer, I'm primarily interested in the concept of personal growth. I feel like a lot of stories hand out power ups a little too easily and wanted to play with the idea of taking a character who is relatively spoiled and worthless in the grand scheme of the story and slowly and realistically forging them into something more, while still considering the psychological ramifications of failing in the try/fail cycle. My primary work at the moment is Double-Blind and RE:Monarch. They’re a culmination of all my favorite things. Mother of Learning was the first web novel I read, and ever since, I’ve been chasing that high again. I have special place in my heart for LITRPG, which is where Double-Blind came from. I also love time loop stories and unfortunately, at this point, am pretty sure I’ve read them all. The one I always wanted to read but never found was a meta-loop story: something that combines a second chance style story with checkpoints like RE:Zero. I had an idea for my own and that inspired me to finally make my own account and start writing. RE:Monarch draws largely from western fantasy with a darker slant. The world is constantly changing and evolving, and most of my world building is on the fly and moment of inspiration. That means the reader suggestions and comments can have more of an effect on the world than they might think.
J.M. Clarke
J.M. Clarke is an author in the LitRPG genre.

John Bierce
John Bierce is a history buff, fantasy and science fiction lover, and fan of talking about himself in the third person. He also has a background in the earth sciences, and has been caught licking rocks before. For science. John has also walked face first into automatic doors on multiple occasions. It's a real talent.

John Broadway
John Broadway is an American man with a taste for the finer things in life—fantasy monsters, wholesome vibes, and fun stories that inspire more warm and fuzzy feelings than anxieties. He has too many pets, a wonderful and supportive wife, a humble little home, a concert ukulele, and a dream. If you like stories that err on the side of "good, clean fun" while being sophisticated enough for discerning adults, look no further.

John Stovall
John Stovall loves Shami, gaming, reading, math, his friends, his family, and his dog, and probably a whole lot of other things he can't think of right now. He obtained his BA in political science, and then later his JD from Humphrey's School of Law, but his real passion lies in writing. When he isn't thinking up number systems for his own homebrew Dungeons & Dragons game, he's thinking up cool plot lines for his books. If you'd like to contact John Stovall, you can find him on Facebook and Instagram at: john.w.stovall (be prepared for questionable photography skills)

JollyJupiter
JollyJupiter hails from west of the Rockies where he lives with his supportive wife and darling daughter. A full-time teacher and fuller-time father, writing is a beloved hobby alongside playing the ukulele and throwing axes. He writes to make you laugh, but if all else fails he'll accept a groan at a dad joke as a consolation prize. He owes his pen name to his favourite song, and his love of NASA, who snapped the picture used in his profile!

Joshua Kern
My name is Joshua Kern and I am an anxiety riddled individual who is trying to write for a living. I’ve always loved reading and the escape books provide from everyday life. Writing stories was something that I always wanted to do at some point in the future. I just wasn't sure when, and now I have finally decided to take the plunge. I am currently writing several series that span a few different genres from LitRPG/GameLit, and Fantasy to even a bit of Romance. I was born in a little town situated somewhere in Ohio and raised in an even smaller town some place in Colorado. I attended University for a time, where I discovered that while I enjoyed Electrical Engineering and Computer Science my true passion lay in writing. I live primarily in Colorado but have been known to move around as the need arises. When not writing, I enjoy riding motorcycles, reading anything I can get my hands on, and anime. Joshua Krensell-Steward

Joshua Phillips
Joshua Phillips has always loved reading. He spent his youth in the south-eastern United States where he hid from the sun and reality as his ink-stained hands turned page after page. Using only his mind, he embarked upon many magical journeys to distant realms until one day, he began creating worlds of his own. He graduated from Mercer University with bachelor's and master's degrees in Electrical Engineering, which adequately prepared him for creative writing, as one might expect. After spending 8 years in research, he changed careers and began writing full time. He lives in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife, Caitlyn, and their newest addition, Eliana, who has yet to meet her father since he began writing just before she was born. One day, he might emerge into the world again.

Joshua Rettew
Joshua Rettew grew up in Downingtown, Pennsylvania. Reading has always been an escape for him, as fantasy worlds were always more interesting than anything real life could offer. His love of reading was not only contained to books, buying the first issue of Hellboy as a kid inspired a lifelong love of comic books. Growing up, he and his older brother would stay up late on weekends, playing anything from Runescape and Monster Hunter to Gears of War. Eventually, Josh discovered his affinity for RPGs through Fable and Oblivion. Both hobbies naturally lead to an extreme fondness for the litRPG genre. Due to his love of biology and the need to support himself after college, Joshua majored in Microbiology at West Chester University, in addition to a minor in Creative Writing—the only thing to get him through organic chemistry classes. Joshua now lives in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, with his girlfriend Audrey, two reptiles, and their three cats. Currently, Joshua works full time at a research lab and dreams of one day writing full time for a living.

J. P. Valentine
J.P. Valentine became an author entirely by accident. The warning signs were there: a childhood spent powering through books faster than his parents could buy them, a vocabulary well past pretentious and into obnoxious, and just enough hubris to think people would actually care what he had to say. All it took was enough boredom to get started and a surprise burst of online readers to stoke his ego at the right moment, and suddenly he’s published eight books spanning the spectrum from tragedy to comedy. Oops. Now he spends his days hiding away from the California sun pacing circles around his living room while he comes up with new and unique ways to use action, humor, and interesting worldbuilding in his eternal quest to trick people into reading poetry. It hasn’t worked yet.

J.R. Mathews
Having worked as a public defender for almost a decade, J.R. Mathews wrote and published his first book in 2021 and to his eternal shock people actually wanted to read it. Since then he has been working full-time as an author and plans to keep doing so for as long as people keep reading what he writes.

Justin Marks
Justin spent nearly a decade in the Air Force after college and then spent time working in educational technology. He has been an avid MMORPG player, from Everquest to Lord of the Rings Online with stops at Camelot, City of Heroes, and others along the way. After living in five states, he retired to Alaska to focus on his writing, exploring the world, and playing video games.

Kaelen Valebrook

Kaiden MacRigh
Kaiden MacRigh here! I like stories about ordinary guys thrust into extraordinary circumstances. If they go from ordinary to extraordinary in this world or when they get their feet on the ground in another, that's even more interesting. And should they end up with beautiful companions, so much the better. As is the way of things, characters swam into my mind's eye. Some of them in 'Isekai', some in other genres. Join me as I chronicle their adventures. Come visit my Patreon page when you get a chance.

KamikazePotato
Hello all you lovely people! My name is Brett - a.k.a. KamikazePotato - and I've been a massive fan of fantasy stories since the first time I first picked up a book. Over the years, I've devoured well over 100 fantasy novels, dozens of fantasy video games, plenty of fantasy TV shows and movies...you get the idea. Naturally, this made me want to create a fantasy world of my own. Around the time I decided to sit down and write a story I would actually share with everyone, I also got into the LitRPG genre, and here we are. I plan to write plenty more stories in this genre, and to spread my wings out to other genres as well! Writing is a joy, and so is getting to see people enjoy what I've created.

A man once said that history is written by victors. In this case though, I'd like to think it's more accurate to say "history is written when someone tells you what happened." Join me on Discord for Advance Chapters & Extra Stories https://discord.gg/htzB3CW62S I love reading and writing, although these days, I've been spending more time playing board games than anything else. The pandemic has inspired him to fulfill a lifelong dream of writing where he can take the worlds he loves to play in and share them with others. LitRPG is the perfect genre for him as it combines some of his favorite methods of storytelling.

But no matter how busy he was, he always found time to read often and occasionally play RPGs. Later, Konstantin participated in short story competitions and found resounding success. Then in one beautiful moment, he finally realized what he wanted to do with his life and published his first fantasy novel, The Safe Level. The novel was nominated in a major literary portals annual competition, and was one of five winners. That was the beginning. In 2023, The Last Portal Jumper was published, becoming one of the best new RealRPG novels that year.

K.T. Hanna
KT Hanna has such a love for words, a single one can spark entire worlds. Born in Australia, she met her husband in a computer game, moved to the U.S.A. and went into culture shock. Bonus? Not as many creatures specifically designed to kill you. KT creates science-fiction, fantasy, and LitRPG like it’s going out of style, with a dash of horror for fun! She is a member of the SFWA and NINC. Her hobbies include gaming and reading like there's no tomorrow. No, she doesn’t sleep. She is entirely powered by caffeine, Chipotle, and sarcasm.

Kurth Andrard
Hey, everyone. I'm a pretty simple writer that wants to focus on adventure and LitRPG tales. Starting with Lute and Songs; a story I've bounced around for years. I fell in love with the genre a while ago and realized I had dozens of ideas for stories. Sadly, I can only work on one at a time. That just means, I'll have years of content to work through. Hope you enjoy.

Maari
Hi! I'm maari, a new author on Royal Road and I write the web novel "Queen in the Mud." It's a litrpg story about a girl who is born in a strange, violent world as a bipedal salamander and tries to carve out a home for herself. I am a college student who goes to school full time and works full time as well. I don't have very much time to allocate to this project since I'm so busy, but I do try to work more on it during breaks and vacation times where I don't have school. Supporting me on here will allow me to spend more time on Queen in the Mud. I hope you enjoy reading this story as much as I enjoy writing it. Thank you for your support!

Macronomicon
I could tell you that the author is a middle class, middle age white dude with a generic wife and a generic pet who lives somewhere vaguely rural...but aren't they all? F%$! that noise! There are Author Bios and then there's Mythos. Welcome to the Mythos of Macronomicon. Macronomicon is almost three years old now, hatched on the open-mic writing website Royal Road. The pen name burst from the cocoon of blissful ignorance and deposited his first humble contribution into the world of writing, tired and sticky, yet satisfied. Content in the knowledge his work would be warmly received by thousands of potential fans, and more importantly...friends. The first comment was, “Can you, I don't know, make the main character less stupid?” That was sobering. Macronomicon has no actual weight, because he is a pen name, and while his existence is ephemeral, he does have a presence, often stalking the back-channels of Discord like a novelty vampire, waiting to suck nourishing creativity out of unfortunate* fans. Macronomicon has a talent for brainstorming and stringing together disparate ideas into a cohesive story. That talent has been strengthened and built upon to form the foundation of his writing career. He once outlined the plot (quality notwithstanding) of an entire book from start to finish in a tiny room with nothing but Cheerios, beef jerky, Pepsi and B.O.** If you wish to hunt for the elusive Macronomicon, you may find him at Royal Road, where he began, or Patreon, where he works*** at distilling new stories from a raw, chunky slurry of ideas. *Or fortunate, depending on your point of view. The sucking is consensual. **Quality of B.O. also notwithstanding.

Marc Mulero
Growing up, Marc was out of his mind (and perhaps still is). He knew full well that his creative, untamed spirit was divergent from the pack. Ill-equipped with an inability to focus in school and a strong desire to explore, Marc was barely present wherever he was expected to be. It wasnt until his twenties that he retreated from indulging in the vibrant scenarios playing out in his head and emerged to join the business force, or as he called it, the Spock-side of this world. So there he went, earning his masters degree and CPA license in the process. Surprisingly, he managed to find some enjoyment while experiencing this new chapter in his life. One winters night, in the midst of a bout of insomnia, he heard the sound of a lightsaber beam within his head. Being an avid fan of all things unnatural and missing the colorful world of imagination, he realized that he had abandoned a part of him that he held dear. So in the spirit of staying true to oneself, he decided to resurrect his passion in the form of a novel. He worked long hours during the day dressed in suit and tie, so that he could relish in scribing his fantasies deep into the night. His tenacity was an attempt to unload one of his stories onto the world: a story with depth, intrigue, and complexity, one hes hoping people will get lost in. I've traveled the world having many grand adventures of my own. Yet somehow, I found them less fruitful than a good book. For decades I was an avid reader, devouring all the science fiction and fantasy I could. A youthful boy in my spitting image stunned me when he said he wanted to write. That was me, and I had passed it by. Not any longer. I type out the awesome twist and turns of adventuring heroes seven days a week to make up for lost time. I thrive to release my next book and seriously love what I do. If you enjoy my work, please leave a review. There is no better motivation for an author. Cheers, your adventuring partner, Marcus. https://www.facebook.com/marcus.sloss.524 www.royalguardpublishing.com https://discord.gg/9dPwesSjKu {-Discord where you can find me and other RGP authors Read more about this author

Mark Sprowles
Mark Sprowles is a writer and lifelong reader living in the heart of Ohio with his incomparable wife and their energetic and opinionated Cocker Spaniel. When he's not enjoying the company of his children and grandchildren, Mark finds peace and inspiration in their secluded cabin nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. An avid lover of science fiction and fantasy books from an early age, Mark has always had an insatiable curiosity for the world, especially in areas like history, politics, and the physical sciences. His deep fascination with these subjects is often reflected in his writing, where complex ideas about the universe and human nature intertwine with rich storytelling. As an IT professional by trade, he has a tendency to mingle fantasy and technology whenever possible. Beyond his writing, Mark spends his time hiking, fishing, chopping firewood, and riding the wife’s Honda Rancher on the logging trails near their cabin.

Mark Stallings
I’ve been in Colorado since I was a young teenager. I grew up in a military family and traveled all over before ending up in Colorado. I currently live in the foothills of Pikes Peak with my wife, two children and various dogs and cats. I have a crazy technology background having founded several tech companies centering around human machine interfaces before I discovered a passion for writing. When I’m not slinging the ink and trying to get paid to fabricate tales that entertain, I like to shoot competitively, drink craft beer, ride motorcycles and play games with friends.

Michael Anderle
Michael Anderle (ok, weird talking about myself in the 3rd person) (1967-Hopefully a long time from NOW) was born in Houston, Tx. A very curious child, he got into trouble - a lot. What to do with an inquisitive mind when he was grounded? Read! Ok, done with all of that 3rd person stuff. In the first 20 years, I mostly read Science Fiction and Fantasy. In the last 10 years I have enjoyed Urban Fantasy and Military Fiction. With this background, I've been blessed with creating The Kurtherian Gambit series, a well-selling, and fan loved, collection of stories. The fans have propelled these stories beyond my wildest imagination and they should get all of the credit for sharing with friends, family and occasionally the random person on the street. They are fantastic!

Michael Chatfield
Michael Chatfield is a Canadian Army veteran and international bestselling author who writes the kind of books he always wanted to read—character-driven, gritty, tactical, and grounded in reality. He doesn’t write one-dimensional killers wrapped in plot armor, charging toward an objective without thought. His stories are built for readers who want earned progression, tight, understandable logic, and realistic strategy. Every stat system has structure. Every decision is deliberate (except when there is Jaeger involved). And the pacing? It's locked at two hundred percent. From alleyway brawls to starship armadas clashing over galactic sovereignty, from tactical dungeon assaults to city-states warring over a continent’s fate—Chatfield commits to every battle like it’s his last. With millions of books and audiobooks sold, and tens of thousands of reviews his work spans LitRPG, military sci-fi, fantasy, and post-apocalyptic survival. He writes for readers who value systems that make sense, loyalty that lasts, and power that’s earned, not handed out. Whether you're listening on a long drive, grinding through a shift, or up past midnight planning the next in-game raid—this is where you’ll find sagas to binge. Where strength is earned, logic rules, and camaraderie is forged in fire. You can connect with him on Patreon and don't forget to follow him on social media!

Michael G. Manning
Michael Manning was born in Cleveland, Texas and spent his formative years there, reading fantasy and science fiction, concocting home grown experiments in his backyard, and generally avoiding schoolwork. Eventually he went to college, starting at Sam Houston State University, where his love of beer blossomed and his obsession with playing role-playing games led him to what he calls 'his best year ever' and what most of his family calls 'the lost year'. Several years and a few terrible jobs later, he decided to pursue college again and was somehow accepted into the University of Houston Honors program (we won't get into the particulars of that miracle). This led to a degree in pharmacy and it followed from there that he wound up with a license to practice said profession. Unfortunately, Michael was not a very good pharmacist. Being relatively lawless and free spirited were not particularly good traits to possess in a career focused on perfection, patient safety, and the letter-of-the-law. Nevertheless, he persisted and after a stint as a hospital pharmacy manager wound up as a pharmacist working in correctional managed care for the State of Texas. After a year or two at UTMB he became bored and taught himself entirely too much about networking, programming, and database design and administration. At first his supervisors warned him (repeatedly) to do his assigned tasks and stop designing programs to help his coworkers do theirs, but eventually they gave up and just let him do whatever he liked since it seemed to be generally working out well for them. Ten or eleven years later and he got bored with that too. So he wrote a book. We won't talk about where he was when he wrote 'The Blacksmith's Son', but let's just assume he was probably supposed to be doing something else at the time. Some people liked the book and told other people. Now they won't leave him alone. After another year or two, he decided to just give up and stop pretending to be a pharmacist/programmer, much to the chagrin of his mother (who had only ever wanted him to grow up to be a doctor and had finally become content with the fact that he had settled on pharmacy instead). Today he lives at home with his kids, a giant moose-poodle, two yorkies, a green-cheeked conure, a massive prehistoric tortoise, and a head full of imaginary people. There are also some fish, but he refuses to talk about them.

Michael James Ploof
I spent my youth in the land of make believe. School was a bore, and growing up in the "Boonies" without cable television forced me to use my imagination. If I wasn't holed up in my bedroom playing with my vast collection of action figures, I could be found in the forest with a wooden sword or staff in hand, battling the forces of evil. As an 80's kid, I was raised on a healthy diet of movies like Star Wars, The Neverending Story, Labyrinth, Goonies, and endless other classic (but strange) movies. As a reader, I enjoy books that take off right out of the gate, sweep me off my feet, and whisk me away on an epic adventure. As an author, I try to create books that do the same for my readers. I write fantasy, and I suppose that I still live in a land of make believe, except now I get to share the adventure with others. I hope that you will join me on my next adventure, and together we can escape reality, if only for a time. Michael Nwanolue
Michael is a Nigerian fantasy writer often found lurking on YouTube or Netflix. His interests include programming and other science-y stuff, myths and legends as well as dark, unspeakable rites. He can be found on Twitter or Instagram shouting into the void about his next planned books. Its probably for the best you do not attempt to summon him.

Michael R Miller

Michael R. Miller
Hailing from the wet and wild west coast of Scotland, Michael enjoys writing stories as sweeping in scope as the ancient landscapes he grew up in. His writing is known for rich character arcs, tight pacing, and layered magic systems. Songs of Chaos is his love letter to the dragon rider sub-genre, drawing inspiration from the classics like Pern, Temeraire, and Eragon and combining them with the harder magic systems of Branden Sanderson and Will Wight, creating an epic tale all ages can enjoy. Michael is also 'that guy' who enjoys - well, enjoyed... - discussing the mad fan theories of Game of Thrones even more than the books or show, and knows more about World of Warcraft than is probably healthy.

Myra Veknix

Mystic Neptune
Mystic was born and raised on an island surrounded by temperate rainforests, lakes, mountains and an endless ocean off the horizon. Mystic started writing books when she was 12, and by 14 she'd written her first novel. It was about an elven space princess whose evil stepmother messed up her transdimensional portal trip to university and sent her to a war torn restricted universe. It was very cheesy, and the nine book series she wrote was lost forever on the family windows 95 computer that died a very final death one summer when she was sixteen. By sixteen, Mystic was living with her very sick single mother and her disabled little brother, and working nights to help pay the bills. There was time to read during her school breaks but there wasn't time for much else - and no money to replace the home computer. She wrote notebooks filled with the beginnings of stories, and then got another laptop in college. Around that time she also met the love of her life who read just as much as she did! They got married but only after a terrible accident had befallen her! One day when Mystic was walking to the mall, an iron fence from a construction site fell on her. She suffered from amnesia so bad that she had to relearn English. She had to remeet all her friends and family. She walked past her mother in the street and didn't recognize her. It's OK though! She got better! Mystic started reading webnovels after she could read again because she was tired of picking up books only to remember the ending half-way through! Translated light-novels were new at the time, so she could read without worry that her silly memory would come back and spoil the ending. Mystic enjoys reading light-novels, webnovels, litrpg, gamelit, and fantasy. She also loves Middle Grade and YA. Her favourite authors are Patricia C. Wrede, Tamora Pierce, CasualFarmer, Ryan Rimmel and Diana Wynne Jones. In Mystic's spare time, she writes and does edit swap date-nights with her author husband, JollyJupiter. Oh he of famed dwarven comedy. She also runs after her daughter Phoebe Vaara. Phoebe is named after Saturn's moon, and Vaara actually means Danger in Finnish and Stranger in Greek. Phoebe is a rock-star social diva toddler who hikes mountains and has more friends and enemies than her parents combined, so it fits. Mystic is probably writing right now.

Nathan Ameye
Nathan Ameye grew up fishing, canoeing, and hunting in the Ozark Mountains. In his backpack, you could always find a bag of polyhedrons, a notebook full of story ideas, and a fantasy or science fiction novel, its tattered cover desperately held together by yellowed bits of tape. Nathan’s video game addiction started with the original Atari consoles and progressed to text-based multiplayer games (MUDs) and modern MMORPGs. After discovering LitRPG, fascinated by the interweaving of game elements into fiction, Nathan wrote his debut novel, Black Dawn, a post-apocalyptic story about a redneck wizard in the Ozarks. Since then, he has published two more books in the Fae Nexus series and co-authored the Dungeon Accountant trilogy.

Ned Castor
A litrpg/fantasy/sci-fi writer and ardent gamer. I've always loved literature and I've always loved video games. Even went to school for one of the two. When the litrpg genre rose to prominence, I realized I could fuse two of my favorite things and that...Well, that turned into a job real soon. I do like more mature themes and humor, which I think go together well if you find the right angle. I experiment plenty; often to my own detriment. However, I would never chuck the main formula of litrpg because in the end that's why we're all here. I've had some success with the series Midnight Bounties (A headhunter turned nightclub owner in a Discworld-style fantasy city), as well as with some litrp sci-fi titles. My latest addition, Shieldfather which you can read here, is a passion project of mine that I hope to see published too. I take a lot of influence from Terry Pratchett, G.R.R. Martin, Joe Abercrombie, Douglas Adams and a whole host of sci-fi writers from Asimov to Martha Wells. Hope you enjoy my work and happy reading all!

Nicholas Searcy
Nicholas Searcy has been a lot of things in his life, working jobs ranging from law enforcement to car sales, but through the various careers, he's always been a writer. Whether it's traditional fantasy, LitRPG, or science fiction, he's always putting words on the page. Hailing from Mobile, Alabama, Nicholas is a gradute of the University of South Alabama, and on most Saturdays, you can usually find him glued to the television and watching college football. He's also an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves.

Nicoli Gonnella
Nicoli Gonnella spent his formative years atop a mountain, breathing deep of the world energy and expelling impurities from his soul. Also he went to school and stuff. He always wrote but now he's abandoned everything to do it full time. Readers give him strength, spirit bomb style, and there's no telling how strong he will become. This isn't even his final form. He lives with his wife, two kids, and a corgi named Cornelius.

Nikolai Novikov
Nikolai Novikov was born in the snows of Siberia at the very turn of the 21st century. After he’d had enough of snowbank diving and grappling with bears, Nikolai discovered the world of books, films and video games, devouring everything he could lay his hands on. Then one day it dawned on him just as he was perusing yet another book, “WTF? I could do this better!” Spoiler alert: he couldn’t. Reality struck back hard as Nikolai realized that talent alone wasn’t going to get him very far. He needed to get the right skills. So he went back to reading – this time analyzing other authors’ works and studying the craft of storytelling. Within several months, Nikolai had worked his way through a whole wealth of data with the sole purpose of improving his own skill. As a result, his second book found its reader. He’d done it. At 17 years old, Nikolai started writing. At 18, he became a top author at one of the web novel sites. He’s now 24, and his every new book turns out better than the one before it. At 27, he intends to go worldwide. At 30, he plans to conquer the world. Is there anything at all capable of stopping this individual? Probably not...

Noret Flood
Hey all, and thank you for taking the time to check this out. I'm an amateur writer trying to cobble something together around a full time job. I'm particularly fascinated by LitRpg and Wuxia, and want to eventually have several stories to share with my fans. Right now I'm just trying to figure how I want all this to work, so there isn't much here, but that should change soon.

Oleg Sapphire
Oleg Sapphire was born in April 1993 in the city best known as “Little Paris”. He’s always been a good-natured banterer constantly in the thick of his fun-loving friends. This didn’t prevent him from getting two degrees though, in law as well as in IT. He used his expertise in both areas to pen his LitRPG series. His hobbies are archery and reading, but the one pastime that really moves his soul is coin collecting, hunting for rare specimens with quite a bit of history behind them. Ever since childhood, he’s been an artist at heart. His other passion is painting, and he’s made his way through an inordinate amount of books. Oleg has been surrounded by pets from an early age, so animals take a large place in both his heart and in his books, much to his readers’ joy. Writing is his life and his livelihood; he relates to every moment of his characters’ journeys, sympathizing with them in both his heart and his mind.

O. S. Marrow
O.S. Marrow is in trouble—his back hurts, his knees are stiff, and he doesn't quite like how thin his hairline is getting. But that's just how it goes, isn't it? When he's not complaining about one of life's many minor tribulations, he's writing LitRPG, inspired by the many games he's played between the years of his faded youth and today. His favourites include Satisfactory, Disco Elysium, and of course also the only perfect game ever made, James Bond 007: Nightfire. O.S. loves reading, too, and his list of read books is dwarfed only by his list of "to be reads"—a list that is only growing as days go by and more and more recommendations appear in his inbox. He lives in London, UK, where he spends half the time complaining about the weather and the other half telling people his city isn't quite as dreary as they think. From his desk at a window overlooking south London, he watches the world go by and dreams his stories.

OstensibleMammal
OstensibleMammal is a writer born from condensed procrastination built up over eons. In many ways, he is a flesh-made human just like you, dear reader, with two eyes, two ears, nose hairs, a mouth, and twelve chins. Unlike you, he has spent a lifetime losing to his questionable imagination, culminating in the inevitable release of its bizarre contents. Fueled by classics like “The Eye of Argon” and Lu Xun’s “Diary of a Madman,” he has deemed the collective literacy of the world an acceptable target and now seeks to provide entertainment while tumbling accidentally down a metaphorical hill toward literary insights. He's currently penning a story about a certain dietarily-challenged individual seeking enlightenment by merging with lobotomized deities, possibly altering reality itself. The destination of the journey remains as unpredictable as the author himself.

Peter J Lee
A mechanical engineer and general all around nerd, I began to write a book in 2020 when the D&D campaign I'd been running ended for obvious reasons. I'm R.A. Mejia, and I write in a genre called LitRPG. It combines video game and table top RPG mechanics with fictional writing. I fell in love with the genre a while ago and started to consume every book in the genre. I loved the genre so much that I wrote my own story. If you read my stories and love it, then I'm happy. If you don't love it, I'll recommend some other LitRPG for you to read that you might love. If you've ever dreamt about living one of your favorite video games or wondered what stories could be told from a gamer perspective, then the LitRPG genre is for you. Rhea Zulu
Rhea Zulu is a health professional from South Africa who fell in love with the fantasy genre after discovering the magical world of Harry Potter as a child, finding peace in the stories of heroes and villains. During high school, she won multiple story writing competitions and began writing poetry and short stories for fun. When she was a child, her family would leave their cosy city home and go visit their extended family in the rural areas every school holiday. Every night, after a hard day of farming, they would all sit around the fire outside their muddy hut and someone would tell a story, a folktale or a myth. Those are some of her favourite childhood memories. As an adult, she played plenty of DnD and read a lot of Korean webnovels. She always loved how much they incorporated Asian Myths and Legends into their stories. She wanted to do the same and share stories from her homeland, her Africa, with the Fantasy and LitRPG community. She started writing again because Attack on Titan ended and her life was empty. Nowadays, after a day of helping patients at work, Rhea relaxes by creating fantasy and kingdom-building stories of worlds beyond her humble upbringing. These stories centre on South African characters and reflect their struggles and triumphs in fantasy worlds inspired by African myths and legends. You can support her on Patreon.

"One of self publishing's rising stars" - Mark Lawrence, author of Prince of Thorns "Hayes spins a tale like a wushu master spins a kick - with deft speed, grace, and bone-crushing impact." - Dyrk Ashton, author of Paternus “Books like this deserve to be read by all lovers of fantasy. It’s got just about everything you could ask for in the genre; and a few things you’d never think to ask.” – Filip, BookNest.eu “Hayes writes some of the darkest and most brutal fiction around." - Fantasy Book Review “Rob J. Hayes remains one of the best writers of grimdark fantasy around and should always be mentioned with Erikson, Lawrence, Abercrombie, and Morgan. He is a master of making compelling and memorable characters that always capture your attention.” – BookNest

Rob M. Lastrel
After realizing he had forgotten most of the stories he had dreamed up, Rob M. Lastrel decided it was time to write some of them down. This decision marked the start of his practical journey into authordom, turning his imaginative narratives and gaming experiences into written tales that connect with readers across the globe.

Rohan Hublikar
Rohan Hublikar was born in Edison, New Jersey 24 years ago after the longest night of winter. The ice of that dark day has since flowed through his veins, making his teeth chatter constantly and the howl of a winter storm follow him through doors regardless of the season. This has made his studies as a medical student rather difficult, but it's given him plenty of inspiration to write, so he can't complain.

Roman Romanovich
My first book, born out of passion, not only became a commercial success but also launched my writing career. Yet, when I couldn’t replicate the popularity of The Game, I decided to put my writing on hold to focus on my education and career. Years of working as a psychologist rekindled my passion for unraveling the human psyche through layered stories and complex characters. With pen in hand, I returned to writing — bringing with me newfound knowledge, refined skills, and even more enthusiasm than before. Since then, I’ve written over seventy books, honing my craft with each sentence and story. And yet, I’m certain that my journey as a writer has only just begun!

Roman Savarovsky
Roman Savarovsky was born in 1992 in a small Siberian town. His childhood love for reading short detective stories eventually shifted to a fascination with fantasy, sci-fi, and adventure during his teenage years. While in university, reading took a backseat to other hobbies and studies, until the LitRPG genre captured his attention in 2014. Realizing, “I could write something like this,” he completed his first full draft and submitted it to a writing contest. Although the draft didn’t progress further, Roman turned his focus to a career in sales. His search for purpose continued over six years, moving from one job to another, yet the desire to write never faded. The turning point came in 2021 when Roman stumbled upon another major LitRPG contest. Revisiting and fully rewriting his draft, he transformed it into a successful trilogy, gathering his first fans and finding his true calling. Since then, Roman has never set down his “pen,” crafting and publishing new captivating stories.

He also co-owns a tie dye company with his wife, Tania. They have been blissfully married since 2013.

Samson Chui

Samson Chui
Samson Chui writes fast-paced LitRPG and progression fantasy with actual progression, one-liners that hit just a little too hard, and zero patience for ten-chapter dating arcs. He’s a Canadian living in Cambodia, drinks too much coffee, and writes a new chapter nearly every day. He’s the author of Towerbound, a VR-based alchemy LitRPG series that somehow hit #1 in New Releases for Time Travel Fiction (for who knows how long?); Atlas and the Portal Crushers, a time-warp survival series full of bad decisions and worse timelines; and Luck, a modern-day LitRPG where the world’s unluckiest guy gets a system and flips the table. He has a cat named Berlin, who sits on his keyboard, judges his pacing decisions, and says: meow. Hello. If you like stories with strong systems, tight pacing, and characters smart enough to survive their own world—you’re in the right place. He’s not going anywhere. These series will be finished. Even if it takes until 2032 and there are only ten readers left. He’s stubborn like that.

Samuel Hinton
Samuel Hinton is the author of the Manifestation series, which you can find updates for at https://cosmiccoding.com.au/. S.C. King
S.C. King dove into the world of translated Chinese web novels and fell in love. When he ran out of those, he turned to machine-translated versions. It was not... good. He was half mad by the time he discovered progression fantasy and LitRPG. That explains why he thought, "Hey, maybe I should give this writing thing a shot!" It worked. Somewhat.

Sean Oswald
Sean was born on Krypton, Zenn-La, or Planet Vegeta, depending on which one of his kids is asking and what mood he is in. He served in the USMC straight out of high school before going on to obtain a highly useful degree in ancient languages. Then, onto the mission field to work at an orphanage in India with his wife and 2.5 kids before returning to the US and surrendering to the dark side. Some say Sith, but his business card reads attorney or at least it did till he gave it up to make up stories. Now he lives with his wife and nine (yes 9) children in central Illinois. Although to be fair, some of the kids are moved out and now he has version 2.0 called grandkids—which are even more fun, despite still having an 8 year old of his own. When he isn't moving furniture for his wife or playing with his kids, he is busy trying to force all the stories in his head onto a piece of paper. Read more about this author

Seth Ring currently lives with his wife, kids, and dog in the United States of America.

Shane Purdy
I have loved books ever since I was in middle school. It first started with a traditionally published series by Curtis Jobling called Wereworld. I was always really into werewolves, so when I found that book and started reading it, it got me completely glued to reading. At first it was just books about werewolves, then werewolves and vampires, and then any story in general, with a preference towards fantasy. After a few years of reading, I eventually found Royal Road and began reading webnovels as well, and after several years of binge reading through the stories on Royal Road and various other sites like it, I finally succumbed to a desire to write in the summer of the year 2021. Ever since then, I have been writing multiple stories, and enjoying every single moment of it! This Patreon will help me continue writing these stories for both your enjoyment, and my own! My Patreon has advanced chapters for ten different stories, including Wolf of the Blood Moon, Pioneer of the Abyss, Crimson Eternal, Ascension of Chaos, Reaper's Resurgence, The Calling of Wrath, The Rise of the Winter Wolf, The Eternal Winter, Dungeon from the Void, and The Undying Magician, along with chapters for several other stories that I haven't fully committed too as of yet. I appreciate any and all of the support you may give me, and I hope you have a lovely day!

Sleyca
I write things. I hope you like them.

S. L. Winter
I cut my teeth on fantasy books, reading and enjoying classics like The Lord of the Rings, Narnia, and Watership Down, popular series like Harry Potter, Temeraire, and Eragon, as well as more unknown books like Waywalkers and Trickster's Choice. I've been writing fantasy for years, ever since I was 14, but my books are finally reaching a wider audience. I love rich characters and immersive fantasy settings. Worldbuilding is my favourite part of writing and I love it when my readers discover it bit by bit, uncovering new facets of what I've created like gems in a mine. Character-building is another not-so-secret weakness of mine: I love it when a character changes and transforms, their journey through the narrative affecting them as much as they affect those around them. Hopefully you see both of these loves reflected in my stories. Happy reading! Read more about this author

Strungbound
Strungbound enjoyed reading Fantasy and Science Fiction from a young age, including such authors as David Gemmell, Ursula K. Le Guin, Robert Jordan, Arthur C. Clarke, and Iain Banks. Discovering LitRPG and cultivation stories was a more recent evolution, stemming from finally deciding to read Cradle after seeing it constantly recommended. He loved it right away and became an instant fan of the genre, which eventually led to a desire to write.

I decided to make this Patreon page for those of you who wish to support me and my writing. I've always been intrigued with writing. TJ Reynolds
Rose Reynolds (TJ Reynolds pen name) grew up catching lizards and dreaming of dragons in flight. She joined the Army Infantry at 18, spent some time in the sand. In between conducting raids and combat patrols in the city of Mosul, Rose played Gears of War and Halo, keeping her love of gaming alive. Rose earned degrees in English before spending a few years teaching as an adjunct professor. By a miracle of Fate, luck, and force of will, she now writes Fantasy books for a living, focusing on Progression Fantasy and LitRPG. Her best known work is First Fist: Seventh Bridge to the Heavens, under the pen name TJ Reynolds. Book 2 in the series is due for publication Spring 24. A new Progression Fantasy novel is on the horizon: The Heroes, Monk and Mage, scheduled for Fall 2024. Perhaps her greatest accomplishment yet, however, has been learning to survive as a transgender woman. Reclaiming her mind, soul, and body, she’s never felt more herself. Joyous though this change has been, the social and financial cost of transition are devastating. Send the trans folks you interact with a bit of kindness and grace: many of us are barely hanging on. Tobias Begley
Tobias Begley is a physics graduate who decided that physics wasn't magical enough and took up writing fantasy... at least when they aren't busy with their two cats. They fell in love with fantasy at a young age, raised on a diet of mythology, Lord of the Rings, and Chronicles of Prydain. Driven by spite, as well as far too much coffee, they took up writing to try and put out engaging fantasy stories with LGBT+ protagonists, a luxury they wish they had access to while growing up.

Todd Herzman
Todd Herzman writes fantasy, science fiction, and anything else that catches his fancy. He has a Bachelor of Writing degree from the University of Canberra which hangs above his desk to--in theory--give him confidence when he writes. It's yet to work because usually his writing only gets done at coffee shops on his lunch break.

Tom Nemes
I’m Tom, a LitRPG, GameLit, and progression fantasy author who fully embraces the chaos of being a husband, father, retail manager, and hobby farmer. I live in the Pacific Northwest with my wife, kids, and a hobby farm full of animals that somehow multiply when I’m not looking. When I’m not managing a store or chasing woolly escape artists, I’m crafting worlds filled with monsters, magic, danger, and just enough humor to keep things fun. Life is busy. But I wouldn’t have it any other way.

ToraAKR
ToraAKR fell in love with the fantasy genre at a young age after getting his grubby little hands on the Dragonlance series by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman. It was all downhill from there as a love for fiction turned into a complete addiction for the LitRPG genre. When no story could perfectly scratch the itch for adventure, he finally picked up the keyboard and started rolling his face across the keys until a story was born.

Walrus King
Michael Clark lives with his wife, children, and large dog near Philadelphia, Pa in a large house with far too many books and not enough bookshelves. After running several comic book and game stores for 35 years, he dusted off his degrees in Mathematics and Statistics when he started writing Litrpg. The first story, Butcher of Gadobhra, is over a million words and 450 chapters on Royal Road with no ending in sight, just like his long running Dungeons and Dragons campaigns. The first book for that series will be coming out from Aethon books soon. It is set in the same game world as his first book, Tunnel Rat. Tunnel Rat was inspired by a lovely drawing I saw on Deviantart by Memymine. She graciously let me use the drawing of a cool ratman festooned with skulls for the story. It was intended to be for one writathon, but took on a life of its own with over 350 chapters on Royal Road. The Walrus King is a character from a long running story I told to my twin girls starting when they were three. Somewhere along the way they encountered a Lazy Dragon, became the twin Bunny princesses of the city of Bunnopia and journeyed to the far north to enlist the aid of the Walrus King and his legions of Walrus Knights. Walruses have always been a big part of the family, with several stuffed ones guarding the bookcase. The first was Theo, won at bop-a-mole while dating his wife to be. Theo is a little tattered from his adventures with four children but still runs into the fray when called upon. He'll be needed as the grand children arrive.

Warden Locke
People often ask what made me want to become a writer. Unlike most authors, the answer was quite simple for me. Daydreaming. I've done it as far back as I can remember. It started in early childhood. I'd imagine myself in place of a movie's main character, like so many of us. Over time, I grew bored with the storylines of the movies and cooked up my own, often just to help keep my mind occupied until I fell asleep. Over the years, those daydreams turned into a tool that I still use to this day. I often daydream about random events until one new piece comes to light, one that turns into an avalanche of ideas until a story emerges from it.

Wilbur Woods
Wilbur Woods is an entertainer, coffee drinker, and story eater, as well as the author of the Cosmic Games series, originally released on Royal Road. Yrsillar
Forge of Destiny is a story of clashing characters, and advancing power. A mixture of the newer genre of progression fantasy with older mythological themes and a strong focus on the people behind the powers, and the way those powers shape the people and world. Originally a mix between a Forum game and a CYOA novel, which became a web serial and then the books seen here, its unique origin has lent itself to a long form and intensely character focused story, filled with a ready progression in both power and relationships. Yrsillar began as a forum handle, taken in younger days which has since been synonomous with the forum stories and games written under it. Its been quite a bumpy ride, reaching this point where what was once a hobby nickname has come to be a genuine career! Something which Yrsillar can only express his greatest thanks for to the many people who supported him in the lead up. As the person behind the pen name, Yrsillar is a huge fan of tapletop roleplaying games, fantasy novels, and the older era of RPGs. He enjoys running games for his friends, and spending far too much time playing around with strategy games.

Yuri Ajin
Hello, friends! My name is Yuri Ajin. I was born in Ukraine, in Kyiv, and English isn’t my native language. I'm really a very simple guy. I finished high school, graduated from University. I loved reading more than anything, and at some point I started writing my own story. I love that so many people, who might have never heard of me, just a few years prior, might now get a chance to become my readers and, hopefully, fans. As one of the hit novels of the new wave of Russian LitRPG novels, Heavenly Throne follows one of the greatest underground fighters of the 2010s, who has found himself in a world much different than his own. He had thought that he had nothing more to lose, but fate is a fickle and cruel mistress. Now, he must fight for his place in this new world as he advances on the path of martial arts and force cultivation. The winner of the Russian National Wuxia Contest, Heavenly Throne provides readers with a refreshing take on cultivation stories.

Zac Lake
Zac Lake is a brand-new indie author testing how far storytelling can go when it blends intuition with AI. Root Access is his first release, part of a wild experiment to publish one sci-fi novel per week, all tied to a future where code, consciousness, and chaos collide.

Zeph Baxter
Click FOLLOW to get notified about Zeph Baxter's new releases on Amazon! When Zeph wrote his first novel, he was 98% sure he was about to become the next great voice in literature. He quit his job, embraced his destiny, and—yes—grew a long beard, because nothing says “serious writer” like facial hair that could double as a small woodland habitat. Six months later, the beard was still thriving. The fame? Not so much. But Zeph didn’t quit. Years later, he’s written ten books and is still going strong, somehow powered by caffeine, chaotic outlines, and an unshakable belief that storytelling is worth every last rewrite-induced meltdown. That first novel? Still out there. A little weird, a little rough, but he loves it like a mildly awkward first child. By day, Zeph works full-time as a software developer (after a past life as a college professor). By night, he writes, edits, and occasionally questions all of his life choices. He still dreams of becoming a full-time author. And honestly? He’s just stubborn enough to pull it off.

Zogarth
Having escaped from the grueling corporate world of dress shirts and actual pants, Zogarth has now embraced the true path of hermithood, where he writes about a guy going around shooting progressively stronger stuff with a bow.
